Part I

The objective paper contains English, General Studies and Arithmetic. The 90-minute format rewards balanced section control; a candidate who over-invests in Arithmetic can lose easy English or General Studies attempts.

Part II and computer ability

Part II is conventional and includes English plus Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali or Santali. Computer operation and typing ability are assessed after candidates qualify through the written stages.
